The Town of Blackfalds is looking for an energetic, caring, and enthusiastic Children's Services Attendant I to help create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children participating in our Child Minding and C'Amped programs. If you're passionate about helping children learn, grow, play, and succeed, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and care for children in our Child Minding and Day Camp programs
- Plan and lead fun activities including crafts, games, songs, stories, and creative play
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment where all children can thrive
- Monitor bookings and schedules using recreation software
- Assist with special events and family-focused programming
- Support guests and ensure a high level of customer service
- Help maintain program spaces, equipment, and supplies

Qualifications
You may be the perfect fit if you have:
- Education or experience in Recreation, Education, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education, or a related field
- Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C and AED
This is a Permanent Part-Time (0.6 FTE) position working an average of 21 hours per week.
Work hours will be scheduled in accordance with the Town of Blackfalds Collective Agreement and mutually agreed upon with your supervisor. The successful candidate should be available for evening and occasional weekend shifts as required by programs and events.
Hourly wage – $21.18/hour - $23.70/hour
