Parks Laborer (Seasonal)

• You get to work outside every day — sunshine, fresh air, and beautiful green spaces!
• Daytime hours only — Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  No evenings and only one weekend throughout the summer. Your summer nights and weekends stay yours!
• A super supportive team and a positive, energetic work culture.
• Variety! Every day is different — mowing grass, pruning trees, caring for flower beds, helping in playgrounds, maintaining sports fields, and more.
• You’ll learn new skills, operate equipment, and gain valuable municipal experience.
• You’re helping families, kids, seniors, athletes, walkers, and bikers enjoy safe, clean, beautiful parks.

As a Parks Labourer, you’ll help keep our parks, trails, playgrounds, and open spaces looking their best all summer long!
Your days might include:

• Park & Greenspace Care
• Trees, Trails & Outdoor Amenities
• Equipment Use while supporting the Parks Team and contributing to a friendly, safe, hardworking crew

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Class 5 Driver’s License and a valid Driver’s Abstract
• Standard First Aid / CPR / AED
• RCMP Criminal Record Check
• Ability to obtain WHMIS certification
• Experience operating equipment such as mowers, tractors, or skid steers is an asset — but not required!
